Law Firm Accountant

APPLY NOW!!! Seeking a Law Firm Accountant in Pittsburgh, PA. Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting functions that support the finance department. The Accountant will work closely with the Controller to deliver timely reporting to the Shareholders and Board of Directors. This position will operate in and monitor compliance with applicable federal and state payroll laws and regulations. Assists Controller with maintaining general ledger including monthly journal entries. Completes account balancing, bank reconciliation, and month and year end closings. 100% In-office Full time Salary- $50,000.00- $70,000.00- Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ? 3+ years (SOLID) experience ? Accountant in a Law firm environment experience ? Bachelor?s degree in business, Accounting, or related field ? Understanding of business banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting ? Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems administration. ? Paylocity system experience a plus. ?
