LCSW/LCPC for Black Women

About the practice: Mission: Empowering Black women to heal from intergenerational trauma and racism through focused mental health therapy, support groups, educational workshops, and holistic practices. Values: Support, Heal, Educate, and Empower Job Description: We are looking for a licensed therapist (LCSW or LCPC) who is passionate about holistic healing and decolonizing mental health care. You should be comfortable integrating spirituality, somatic work, and culturally responsive practices into your clinical work, or have a strong desire to learn more about these areas. This is a contractor position. You will be responsible for your taxes. Responsibilities: • Provide individual therapy for primarily Black women • Integrate mental, emotional, somatic, and spiritual approaches to healing • Maintain clinical documentation in a timely and ethical manner • Participate in bi-weekly team meetings • Collaborate with the Owner/Clinical Director on best practices and growth opportunities Education: • Illinois licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) required • At least 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience • Passionate about holistic wellness, liberation, and spiritual healing • Knowledge of or interest in practices such as somatic therapy, meditation, astrology, energy healing, human design, or ancestral work • Experience working with Black clients and a strong anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens Bonus if... • Somatic therapy training (e.g., SE, Polyvagal, yoga-informed) • Practice or curiosity around astrology, human design, or Reiki • Interest in offering workshops or healing groups in the future Skills • Can work independently • Practice self-reflection • Can build relationships quickly • Works well with others What we offer • Supportive, mission-driven team culture • Peer consultation and opportunities for creative collaboration • A space to show up as your whole self while supporting others to do the same Job Type: Part-time Pay: $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Schedule: • Evening shift • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Application Question(s): • Are you financially comfortable with waiting up to 6 months or more to build a caseload? • Are you comfortable with making videos and marketing yourself on social media?
