Manage Tax Liability: The Lead Tax Accountant for Fixed Assets will be responsible for managing the company's tax liability by accurately calculating and reporting taxes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Compliance with Tax Laws and Regulations: This role requires a thorough understanding of tax laws and regulations and the ability to keep abreast of any changes or updates. The Lead Tax Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the company's tax practices are in line with current laws and regulations. Tax Planning and Strategy: The Lead Tax Accountant will be responsible for developing and implementing tax planning strategies to maximize tax savings for the company. Financial Analysis: The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis to identify areas of potential tax savings and optimizing the company's tax position. Fixed Asset Management: This role will involve working closely with the Fixed Assets team to manage the company's fixed asset tax reporting and ensure accurate and timely depreciation calculations. Team Leadership: The Lead Tax Accountant will be responsible for leading and developing a team of tax accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success. Attention to Detail: The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Communication and Collaboration: This role will require effective communication and collaboration with various teams, including finance, legal, and external auditors, to ensure tax-related matters are appropriately addressed. Continuous Learning: The successful candidate will be expected to stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively seek out opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in tax accounting. Problem-Solving: The Lead Tax Accountant will be responsible for identifying and addressing any tax-related issues that may arise, using their knowledge and expertise to find effective solutions.
