All Jobs  >  Payroll Specialist Leo Facilities Maintenance Apply Payroll Specialist Fully Remote Apply Description Summary The Payroll Specialist supports the Payroll Manager in the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment. Reporting Structure - Reports directly to the Payroll Manager  - Works closely with HR, Finance, and other internal departments  Key Responsibilities - Process payroll for employees on a regular schedule (weekly and biweekly) under the direction of the Payroll Manager  - Review and verify payroll data, including timekeeping, wages, bonuses, and deductions  - Maintain and update employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy  - Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting  - Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner  - Support payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations  - Prepare payroll-related reports for internal stakeholders  - Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 and 1099 preparation  - Stay current on payroll laws, regulations, and best practices  Qualifications - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or      related field (preferred)  - 2+ years of payroll processing experience  - Experience working in a team or supporting a payroll function under supervision  - Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, or similar)  - Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements  - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel  - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills  - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities  - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Apply View All Jobs Powered by Privacy Policy Payroll & HR Software
