Licensed Mental Health Therapist (1099 Independent Contractor)

Job Overview Balanced Behavioral Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working with children (ages 6 and older), adolescents, and adults and is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive environment. This is a fully remote 1099 independent contractor position with flexible scheduling and a 60/40 revenue split (60% to the therapist). Position Type • 1099 Independent Contractor • Remote (Telehealth) • Part-time or Full-time • Flexible schedule Compensation • 60/40 revenue split (60% paid to the therapist) • Consistent referrals provided by the practice • Administrative and billing support included Responsibilities • Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. • Provide individual psychotherapy to clients ages 6 and older. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. • Complete documentation in a timely manner. • Maintain ethical and professional standards of care. • Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team as appropriate. Qualifications Applicants must possess a current, active Florida license in good standing as one of the following: • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) • *New graduates with independent licensure and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply* Preferred: • Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. • Experience with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and behavioral concerns. • Comfortable using telehealth technology and electronic health records.
