H.L. Stafford is a motor transportation company, that delivers appliances daily to over 100 stores throughout the New England area. We are currently seeking hard working, dedicated drivers to join our rapidly growing family as we expand into the Syracuse, NY area.

Annual Bonuses + Safety Bonuses available. PTO and Major Holidays Paid

Drivers are running the same routes weekly with a mix of FTL & LTL freight. Driver Unload (Assisted by store employees)

Hiring out of Syracuse, NY. $28+ per hour

• Company Driver (W2, Solo)
• Dry Van
• Local
• $1,100 - $1,600 total weekly avg. pay
• 1,000 - 2,000 avg. miles per week
• Dedicated
• Day shift
• 100% Driver Load/Unload

• 5 days on, 2 days off
• Home every weekend

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.

• Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving or (O) No Semi Trailer
• 12 months Tractor Trailer experience
