About the position Responsibilities • Safely move product using powered industrial equipment. • Fill orders from tickets according to set quotas. • Operate powered industrial equipment while following safety policies. • Verify all incoming and outgoing products and materials. • Stack loads properly and rotate products/materials correctly. • Manually fill orders by walking and using pallet jacks or riding jacks. • Identify products by description and quantity, and carry them to the staging area. • Check for accuracy in picking and perform general housekeeping duties. • Complete daily powered equipment inspection forms. • Read customer orders and determine items to be moved or distributed. • Sort and place materials on pallets according to predetermined sequences. • Mark materials with identifying information and record amounts received or distributed. • Count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. • Maintain and clean powered equipment, including scrubbers, as required. Requirements • Minimum age of 18 years old. • Ability to read, write, and speak English. • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines. • Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets. • Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology. • Less than high school education or up to 1 month of related experience or training. • Forklift and electric riding pallet jack experience preferred. • Ability to repeatedly grasp, stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to effectively adapt to change and demonstrate initiative. • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as required. Nice-to-haves • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in logistics.
