Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking **Long Distance Movers (Non-CDL)** to join our team. In this role, you will assist with long-distance household and commercial moves across the United States. Candidates must be physically fit, dependable, and comfortable being away from home for extended periods (30 to 90 days at a time).
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport household goods, furniture, and other items for long-distance relocations
- Safely pack, wrap, and secure customer belongings to prevent damage during transit
- Assist with operating company vehicles (straight trucks or box trucks – Non-CDL required)
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the truck and at job sites
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Complete necessary paperwork and move documentation
Requirements:
- **Must have a valid DOT Medical Card** (current and up to date)
- **Valid U.S. Driver’s License** (Non-CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to be on the road for **30 to 90 days consecutively**
- Physically capable of heavy lifting (up to 100+ lbs repeatedly) and prolonged standing/walking
- Previous moving experience preferred, but not required – we will train motivated candidates
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well in a team
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Availability to travel nationwide for extended periods
