Looking for Self-Employed Contractor / Experienced Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented full-charge Bookkeeper to assist with regular bookkeeping and bill pay in a remote capacity for approximately 10-15 hours per week. The ideal candidate currently owns his/her own bookkeeping business and understands the demands of work on multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be a highly independent worker. Candidate must be able to accurately enter/match data, reconcile, and assist in the preparation of monthly financials. Candidate will be responsible for helping to pay bills, make/record deposits, and customer and vendor maintenance. Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining various Excel spreadsheets and ongoing checklists of tasks. Candidate will must be able to respond in a timely and professional manner to all emails, both internal and external. Candidate must have at least 3 years experience of Quickbooks Online and a solid understanding of bookkeeping. Candidate must have a working windows-based computer or laptop with a printer and high quality scanner. Please provide 2-3 references so we can connect with people/co-workers that know you best.
