The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead our team of Business Security Partners (BSPs), a crucial bridge between our security organization and various business units. As a Manager, Business Security Partners, you will be responsible for ensuring that security initiatives are aligned with and support the execution of business objectives, driving the effective implementation of security policies, projects, and controls across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Advocacy: Lead, mentor, and advocate for a team of Senior BSPs, striking a balance between autonomy and support to effectively engage with business unit leaders. Develop trust within the team, stakeholders, and the business, navigating uncertainty with ease.
- Strategic Alignment: Serve as a confidant to both the team and the business, aligning security initiatives with business objectives and influencing stakeholders to make informed security investments. Bring security expertise to the business and business acumen to security discussions.
- Communication: Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, between the BSP team, external stakeholders, and Netflix Security leadership. Understand how to tailor communication approaches for various audiences, from individual contributors to executives.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement mechanisms and workflows to ensure accountability within the team and across the business. Socialize the BSP value proposition, securing buy-in and support from stakeholders. Leverage data to inform decision-making and drive outcomes.
- Feedback and Growth: Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members, partners, and leadership. Coach and grow talent to drive change and influence within the business, maintaining strong signals and indicators about business and security stakeholders.

- A competitive annual salary, with a range of $190,000 - $920,000 for this role.
