Manager - Data Science

As the Manager of Data Science, you will be responsible for building and promoting the Advanced Analytics/Data Science capabilities at FedEx Ground. You’ll be overseeing and leading a team of Data Scientists and Senior Data Scientists, as they mine and wrangle vast data resources (both FedEx and external) for meaningful insights and serve up information to the business (human and machines) to make more informed, effective, faster, and easier decisions. You will prioritize the work across your team in order to support the broader FedEx Ground business EPICs and initiatives. Builds and leads a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Senior Data Scientists. Engages company business leaders in business strategy discussions to determine workforce implications; translates business strategy into human capital needs and potential impacts.
