Conduct economic data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and gather relevant data for analysis. Develop and maintain economic models to forecast market trends and inform business strategies. Monitor and evaluate economic indicators and trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company. Communicate complex economic concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in economic policies to inform analysis and recommendations. Lead and manage a team of data analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of economic insights. Develop and implement data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data analysis and reporting. Produce high-quality reports and presentations to effectively communicate economic insights to senior management. Train and mentor junior analysts on economic data analysis techniques and best practices. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to acquire additional economic data and expand analysis capabilities. Adhere to data privacy and security protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information. Represent American Express at industry events and conferences to share insights and stay informed about the latest economic trends.
