Manual QA Hybrid Any contractors in NJ or NY or Las Vegas will have to come to the office 1 or 2 times weekly We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our QA team, focusing on account management, payments, and related workflows across multiple sports betting applications. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of transactional systems and user account flows, who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is passionate about delivering seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities: Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for account-related features including registration, login, KYC verification, account settings, and user preferences. Test payment workflows such as deposits, withdrawals, transaction history, and third-party payment integrations. Validate cross-application workflows and ensure consistent behavior across web and native apps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for new features and releases. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and responsible gaming protocols related to user accounts and financial transactions. Be the owner of your test suite. Actively monitor the results of your tests and communicate out issues regularly. Ensure the developers receive fast feedback on the test results of their changes. Proactively identify risks, advocate for testing best practices, and address gaps in test coverage. Raise defects and advocate for their resolution in team triage sessions. Participate in engineering discussions and contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable, testable systems. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably in fintech, gaming, or sports betting domains. Solid understanding of account management workflows, including user authentication, profile updates, and security features. Experience testing payment systems, including card payments, e-wallets, and banking APIs. Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams. Nice to Have: Experience with sports betting platforms or regulated gaming environments. Understanding of KYC/AML processes, and responsible gaming practices.
