Responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials and supplies in a fast-paced production environment. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor material levels, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to production lines. Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas to optimize space and facilitate easy access to materials. Collaborate with production and shipping teams to prioritize and fulfill material requests in a timely manner. Conduct regular quality checks on materials, reporting any damages or discrepancies to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, adhering to company and OSHA standards. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage of materials. Work closely with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise. Actively participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
