Position Summary We're looking for a bright, passionate, and dedicated Math Instructor / Tutor to join our team in Sewell, NJ. As a Math Instructor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, participating in positive interactions with parents, and establishing a high level of confidence and program value. This is a part-time role with flexible hours, offering a unique career path focused on helping the community and working with students. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, using the Mathnasium Method and terminology Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery, using individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment Assist with non-teaching and instructional tasks as needed Essential Qualifications A passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance various ongoing tasks Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics Familiarity with educational software and technology Experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium, you'll need: Strong mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and team members Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced learning environment Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Mathnasium, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
