About the position Responsibilities • Achieve financial and strategic goals for assigned categories and brands, including sales, productivity, and gross margin. • Develop and execute overall strategy for brand growth, including new product introductions and strategic expansion of current brands. • Establish and manage brand relationships, including terms negotiations and business needs. • Develop, manage assortments, and plan launches and animations for brands within the category. • Analyze category and brand elements to identify areas of opportunity. • Source and develop new brands to fill important need gaps within the category. • Communicate brand and business opportunities to stores and lead fixture/planogram planning and implementation. • Develop, mentor, coach, and train team and direct reports. Requirements • 2-5 years of experience as a Merchant and/or in the beauty industry. • 2-5 years of leadership experience, including developing others. • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills. • Ability to work with business partners to identify opportunities for cross-functional process improvements.
