Due to growth, they are looking for a Portfolio Accountant who will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and accounting over a set portfolio of assets. This role will be reporting to the Assistant Controller. Some of their employee reviews: “The base pay is very competitive and values work/life balance!” “Work-Life Balance and Career Progress” Portfolio Accountant Responsibilities: - Manage, audit, and analyze all financial matters related to assigned portfolio, serving as the financial liaison to others in the organization. - Review and validate the accuracy of third-party property manager financial reports and monthly distributions. - Review annual budgets and monitor monthly budget to actual variances and monthly forecast accuracy. - Upload monthly results to the company’s Yardi system from the third-party property managers. - Calculate and monitor property NOI performance, portfolio performance returns, and Fund level returns. Portfolio Accountant Qualifications: - BA/BS in Accounting - 2-4 years of real estate portfolio accounting preferred. - Previous public accounting experience a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; Yardi experience preferred.
