Mutual Funds Accountant

About the position The Mutual Funds Accountant position at Rose International involves maintaining the general ledger and records of mutual funds, producing end-of-day net asset value calculations, and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles. This role is essential for the accurate financial reporting and management of mutual funds, requiring collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities • Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds of varying complexity. • Produce end-of-day net asset value calculations. • Prepare daily general ledger accounting and cash reconciliations. • Process advisor/portfolio management activities and corporate actions. • Post expense accruals and payments. • Determine daily net asset value and mill rates. • Conduct portfolio pricing analysis and validations. • Distribute timely internal and external information. • Perform portfolio reconciliations. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. • 1-3 years of professional Accounting experience preferred. • Knowledge of mutual funds or investment products is a plus.
