Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and quality expertise to the Fixtures and Fittings plants.
Implement and improve quality processes at assigned plants.
Serve as a liaison between the plants and the QA central.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
Experience in quality management in manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plan etc.).
Data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Communication and teamwork skills.
Certifications: ASQ Certification or equivalent, and Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus
At least 3 years in Engineering, Sourcing, or Quality related roles as a specialist in a discrete manufacturing environment (Fortune 500 Company is a plus).
Team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various
sources; experience working with others on a global basis is a plus.
Analytical and problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner; effectively evaluates
information/data to make decisions.
Change oriented – knowledge of process improvement tools; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways,
balances multiple and competing objectives.
Proven statistical analysis capability with use of appropriate problem solving techniques.
