A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with telehealth expertise to provide services in a fully remote school setting located in Valparaiso, IN.
This position involves delivering occupational therapy through telehealth platforms to support students' developmental and functional needs. The contractor will engage with students, families, and educators virtually to complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments using digital tools
• Designing and delivering therapeutic sessions tailored to student needs via telehealth
• Collaborating with educational staff and families to support student progress
• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and related records accurately
• Utilizing virtual resources and technology to enhance service delivery
Preferred qualifications and abilities:
• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure with eligibility to practice in Indiana
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in schools via telehealth
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage clients virtually
• Proficiency in using virtual platforms for assessments and therapy
• Familiarity with educational settings and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
