CourseCareers is Seeking an Experienced Bookkeeping Professional to Lead a New Online Training Course CourseCareers is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate accounting expert to develop and lead a comprehensive, pre-recorded training course designed to help individuals break into entry-level roles within the accounting and bookkeeping industry. This course will cover essential areas such as financial statements, bookkeeping, accounting systems, Excel fundamentals, accounting principles, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. The goal is to equip individuals with little to no industry experience with the job-ready skills and insights necessary to land their first accounting position — outperforming trade school graduates and thriving in today’s competitive job market. Responsibilities • Develop a 15–25 hour pre-recorded course filled with practical, engaging content. • Create quizzes, assessments, and exams to evaluate student comprehension and job-readiness. • Design supplementary exercises and real-world simulations (e.g., journal entries, reconciliations, Excel projects, financial analysis). • Use CourseCareers' platform to build and promote your personal brand as an industry thought leader. Qualifications • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting (corporate, public, or small business accounting). • Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar). • Strong presentation and instructional skills, with a clear, professional communication style. • Based in the United States with fluent spoken English. • Must be currently working in the industry. • Bonus: Experience in content creation (e.g., YouTube, webinars, educational content).
