Online Creative Writing teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic growth. As a Teacher, you will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience. Duties • Guide students in exploring genres such as poetry, fiction, personal essays, and narrative nonfiction • Facilitate engaging discussions, writing exercises, and collaborative workshops • Provide thoughtful, individualized feedback on student writing • Encourage voice, creativity, and revision through a supportive learning environment • Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. • Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals. • Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve instructional strategies. • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom activities. • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. Requirements • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required; teaching certification is preferred. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage students effectively. • Ability to create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. • Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching are essential qualities for this role. • Experience in an educational setting is a plus but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
