Operations Scale & Planning Lead

Key Responsibilities Operational Scale Planning - Analyze current operational capacity, SLA performance, and throughput - Identify operational bottlenecks and potential breaking points - Design scalable team structures and realistic headcount plans - Build monitoring frameworks to support higher operational volume Warehouse & Logistics Expansion - Design operating models for new warehouse expansion - Define staffing structures, reporting lines, and inventory allocation logic - Evaluate cost and SLA impact of different logistics and warehouse setups Data & Monitoring Structure - Define key operational metrics and data requirements - Work with Data teams to ensure dashboards reflect operational reality - Identify operational blind spots and improve monitoring logic Workflow Governance - Assess operational impact of system changes, pilots, or new initiatives - Define operational readiness requirements before launches - Align workflows across Operations, Product, and Sales teams Operational Efficiency & Network Evaluation - Evaluate logistics and warehouse structures - Review cost-per-order and vendor performance - Recommend structural improvements to increase efficiency Process Alignment & Change Management - Define new operational processes when workflows change - Ensure documentation and SOPs are in place - Align teams across Operations and other functions to ensure successful adoption Requirements Experience - 8–12 years of experience in operations, business operations, or strategy roles - Experience working with warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment networks - Exposure to data-driven operational environments - Experience planning operational scale, expansion, or network design - Strong cross-functional collaboration experience Preferred Background - Experience in scaled startups or tech companies - Exposure to operations planning or network operations in large e-commerce environments Mindset - Structured and analytical thinker - Practical and grounded in operational realities - Comfortable working in less structured environments - Able to balance strategic planning with practical execution
