Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance & Project Accounting Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, particularly Accounts Receivable (AR) and Project Accounting. The candidate will lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle Cloud Finance solutions while ensuring alignment with business processes, compliance standards, and enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design:
• Lead architecture design and implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Cash Management
• Fixed Assets
• Project Accounting (Costing, Billing, Revenue Management)
• Design scalable AR and Project Accounting solutions for global, multi-ledger, multi-currency environments.
• Define accounting structures, chart of accounts (COA), subledger accounting (SLA), and revenue recognition frameworks.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
• Architect end-to-end AR lifecycle including customer setup, invoicing, credit management, receipt processing, adjustments, and collections.
• Design AutoInvoice integrations from upstream systems (Projects, Order Management, third-party billing systems).
• Implement revenue recognition and compliance solutions (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
• Configure lockbox, cash application rules, and receipt methods.
Project Accounting:
• Design project costing, billing extensions, contract setup, funding, and revenue generation.
• Configure event-based and cost-based billing.
• Integrate Projects with AR for invoice generation.
• Support intercompany and cross-charge accounting models.
Integration & Reporting:
• Architect integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Design data migration strategy and reconciliation framework.
• Develop OTBI and BI Publisher financial reports.
• Ensure seamless integration with SCM, Procurement, and Order Management modules.
Governance & Compliance:
• Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and financial controls.
• Design approval workflows and security roles.
• Provide guidance on best practices and Oracle Cloud quarterly updates.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
• Lead functional workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Mentor functional consultants and offshore teams.
• Collaborate with business finance leaders, controllers, and IT teams.
• Provide solution roadmap and continuous improvement strategy.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in Finance ERP implementations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Strong expertise in:
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Project Accounting (Costing & Billing)
• Revenue Management
• Subledger Accounting (SLA)
• Experience in at least 2 3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
• Experience integrating Oracle Cloud with third-party systems.
