Oracle SME Location: Remote USA Production and non-production DBA support for all tiers of Oracle e-Business Suite in a fast-paced environment. Maintenance and performance tuning of database and supplication. Patching database and application, cloning, backup, recovery. DBA will work with application team to gather database space requirements. Calculate forecast initial disk space requirements for Test or Prod. Provide database problem definition, analysis and tuning of performance problems specific to the application and database engine i.e. database locks Monitor ""health"" of Oracle or SQL Server instance; take corrective action. Provide monitoring and tuning for application-specific problems such as long-running jobs and take corrective action. What you bring: 5+ years experience with on-premises administration of Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 (Application and DB) Must understand logical and physical data modelling design concepts Good performance tuning skills Monitor various coding and job design implementations as per documented standards Strong knowledge of Multi-Tier (Web, Apps, Database and DMZ Tiers) Application support. Strong technical knowledge of concurrent processing, concurrent managers Analyse and apply patches, hot fixes, upgrades, and product enhancements Provide security administration support with respect to users and privileges Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes and procedures Manage deployments of code through non-production and production environments Excellent knowledge of ERP cloning, Apps/database refresh, backup recovery of ERP applications Participate in On-call rotation Experience with Precise I3 Proficiency with Linux/Unix and ability to write complex shell scripts Hands on experience with EBS and database upgrades and migrations Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
