Order Fulfillment Agent

Company Overview Dollar Tree is looking for Order Fulfillment Agent who will play a key part in the organized movement of products within their distribution center, helping to ensure punctual deliveries and prosperous retail operations. Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving merchandise while maintaining accuracy and safety. You will support various distribution center operations, adapting as needed to different tasks and departments. Key responsibilities include: • Safely and promptly load and unload merchandise with care. • Scrutinize, validate, and assess products; log data into portable terminals to verify precision of orders and state. • Label and group items systematically to facilitate their transfer within the warehouse. • Employ power lift equipment for maneuvering and storing merchandise. • Fill up chosen spots as per system-generated reports and inquiries. • Fulfill orders by selecting and transferring items to conveyors, pallets, or containers. • Put merchandise onto trailers, scanning products as directed to guarantee correctness. • Validate the accuracy, condition, and proper loading of shipments onto designated trailers. • Ensure the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment through general housekeeping practices. • Modify your role to meet the evolving demands and departmental changes within the distribution center. Required Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: • A high school diploma or a similar qualification is a prerequisite. • Proficiency in safely managing loads weighing up to 70 lbs. • Flexibility in accommodating changes in job tasks and departmental roles is highly valued. • Candidates with a history of working in warehouses or distribution are preferred.
