Origami Claims Lead - NR Consulting LLC

Job Title: Origami Claims Lead Location: Remote Type: C2C/FTE Experience: 8-12 years Duration: 6+ Months Role Overview: We are seeking an Origami Claims Lead with hands-on expertise in the Origami Claims module. This role will drive configuration, integration, and optimization of Origami Claims, ensuring efficient claims handling, financial accuracy, and reporting. The consultant will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to deliver seamless implementations and support transformation programs. Core Responsibilities Facilitate end-to-end claim lifecycle design including FNOL, adjudication, reserving, and payments. Configure workflow rules, financial calculations, and document templates to meet business requirements. Integrate Origami Claims with external adjuster portals, payment engines, and analytics platforms. Lead defect triage, patch release management, and cutover support. Advise on best practices for fraud detection, subrogation, and claims compliance. Must-Have Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience implementing claims systems within the insurance domain. Strong functional knowledge of claim processing and financials. Proven Origami Claims configuration expertise. Hands-on experience with XML scripting for rules and JavaScript for UI customizations. Prior experience with REST/SOAP API integrations. Preferred Skills Experience with reinsurance claim workflows. Knowledge of regulatory reporting and audit compliance. Exposure to other Client or Claims platforms (Guidewire Claim Center, Duck Creek Claims). Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).
