LHH is seeking a Coder with experience in Orthopedics, for our client outside Chicago. This is a remote position with 1 day/month in-office. You must reside in Illinois to be considered for this role.

Salary: $55-65k, DOE
Job summary,
• Reviewing charges and correcting errors, applying coding to patient charts
• Obtaining charge information from physicians or other clinical staff
• Generating reports regarding coding audits
• Working appeals and denials related to coding, making coding edits/corrections
• Corresponding with physicians or other clinical staff members as needed, regarding Coding issues or corrections
Qualifications,
• Coding certification or RHIT/RHIA (required)
• 3 years of experience in (coding)
• Coding for orthopedics (required)
