Position Overview:

• Two Paraeducator positions available: K-2 Structured Classroom (Low Incidence) and 6th-8th Grade Float Position (General Education/Instructional)
• Competitive hourly rate: $27/hour
• 31.25 hours per week, from August 15, 2024, to June 4, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the instruction and support of students in K-2 and 6-8 grade classrooms
• Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and effective learning environment
• Participate in the implementation of educational plans and behavior management strategies

Qualifications:

• Illinois Paraeducator Certificate required
• Experience working with students in K-2 or middle school settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
