Part Time Auditor

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Auditor comfortable with working in a primarily virtual work environment to join our team. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, with a focus on ensuring financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP. This is a repeat seasonal position beginning in Q4 and extending to Q1 to early Q2 each year. Responsibilities: - Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. - Review financial statements and reports for adherence to GAAP requirements. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements to be used in tax preparation. • Requirements* - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - CPA - Proven experience in auditing, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment. - Strong knowledge of GAAP. - Proficiency in financial report analysis. - Familiarity with audit processes and methodologies. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings to stakeholders. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
