• Part Time Bookkeeper* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting functions, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software (QBO) and financial concepts, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software known such as QuickBooks • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable processing • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper double-entry bookkeeping practices • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis • Assist with payroll processing and tax-related activities • Generate financial reports, including budgeting and financial statement writing • Support governmental and non-profit accounting requirements, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards • Handle general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence • Maintain accurate records of debits & credits, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting Experience • Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms • Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and journal entries • Experience in corporate accounting, small business accounting preferred • Familiarity with bank reconciliation, account analysis, budget management, and financial report writing required • Knowledge of payroll processing and tax experience is a plus • Ability to perform 10 key typing with high accuracy and efficiency • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately under deadlines This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional environment where your expertise in bookkeeping and administrative support will be valued.
