We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to help us stay on top of our day-to-day financial operations. This is a 10-hour/week contract role for an individual contractor only (no agencies). We would like someone who can partner with us directly, keep our books clean, and ensure our finances are always audit-ready. If you enjoy organizing numbers, maintaining structure, and have a sharp eye for detail, this role is for you. Responsibilities • Clean up and organize our books weekly in QuickBooks • Maintain accurate categorization of expenses and income • Run monthly reconciliations to ensure clean, up-to-date financials • Support preparation of financial reports for internal use • Track contractor invoices, payments, and other recurring expenses • Ensure compliance with basic tax and accounting standards • Help identify errors, inefficiencies, or duplicate spending and suggest fixes • Accurate manage escrow accounts (including reconciliation) and deferring revenue You’re a Great Fit If You: • Have 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles • Are confident working independently without needing to be chased for updates • Thrive in startup environment or small business environments where things move fast • Are highly detail-obsessed, accurate, and reliable • Can communicate clearly and provide timely updates • Are available for one or two short check-in calls per week (ET mornings) Details • Hours: ~10 per week with potential for long-term collaboration • Trial: Initial 10-hour paid project focused on organizing and reconciling books • Timezone: Must be available for brief weekly calls in ET mornings • Start date: ASAP • Please note: No agencies — we are only looking to work with an individual contractor Apply tot his job
