We’re a small creative agency looking for a part-time finance partner to help us stay on top of our books — not by reinventing the wheel, but by keeping things clean, accurate, and usable. We manage some of our QuickBooks posting and tagging internally.
What You’ll Do
• Review transactions weekly or monthly in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile bank and credit-card accounts
• Flag errors, duplicates, or odd line items
• Generate clear, easy-to-read reports (P&L, expenses by vendor, revenue tracking)
• Keep our chart of accounts tidy and aligned with how we actually operate
• (Bonus) Build a simple dashboard or visual summary of cash flow, revenue vs. expenses, or project profitability
• (Bonus) Pitch in on one-off finance projects like pricing checks or basic budgeting from time to time
What Makes You a Great Fit
• Comfortable owning the “last mile” of QuickBooks cleanup after we’ve posted and tagged transactions
• Energized by working with a tight-knit, creative team and bringing a positive, can-do attitude to calls and Slack chats
• Experience with service-based or agency businesses is a plus
• Able to explain numbers in plain English and keep things simple rather than over-engineering spreadsheets

• 5–10 hours per month (flexible)
• $30–$50 per hour, based on experience
