Successfully completing this assignment will be the first step in the interview process. • *These positions are based in the LATAM market*** • **Please Submit All Resumes In English*** Our Tutors are role models for students studying on our programs. They mentor students, help them with difficult concepts and assignments, teach them the skills necessary to be a great professional. They guide students through the program and into their future careers, making sure all students get the most out of both regardless of their background. You will lead a cohort of students through our Data Science and Data Analytics programs while sharing your experience and inspiring them with your industry knowledge. You will help students by answering questions and by giving them practical advice in the following forms: • Video webinars (once-twice a week); • Chats with students; • Live-coding sessions (1 live session every 2 weeks); • Moderating and consulting colleagues in the student experience team (reviewers, tutors) And most importantly, you'll be someone that your students will look up to! • Experience working as a data scientist using Python. • Experience working with machine learning projects for more than a year. • Familiar with the Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Sklearn libraries. • Readiness to dedicate at least 12 hours a week to mentor students. • Intermediate English, proficient Spanish. • Remote cooperation with a schedule that’s convenient for you and the team. • Training in mentoring and communication techniques. • The ability to teach students while performing your primary job. • Sharing experience with developers in our community. • Tangible results measured by the percentage of students who find a job after completing one of our courses. • Cross-cultural collaboration experience in mentoring and conducting webinars. • Diverse and tight-knit team which is spread out across the US, and LatAm! • Earn $700–900/month on average for a flexible part-time collaboration with great impact and awesome people!
