About the Role As a Data Scientist at Walmart Global Tech, you'll be part of a dynamic team that analyzes complex data sets to inform strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Driving Business Impact: Develop and implement advanced analytics models to drive business outcomes, including predictive modeling, statistical inference, and data visualization. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering. Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a related field, with a track record of developing and deploying advanced analytics models. Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries. Experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Strong understanding of statistical modeling and inference, including hypothesis testing and confidence intervals. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experience can be a plus: Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
