Hiring Immediately in Warren, Michigan Part-Time Embroidery Specialist (25-30 hours/week) 9:00 - 5:00 Wednesdays (7am/8am start times are optional) 4:00pm - 9:00/10:00pm M, T, Th, F (or all 5 days) +4-8 hours on Saturdays or Sundays from Sep-Dec (Day/time is flexible) Hourly Pay: $17-18/hour Job description We are seeking a talented Part-time Embroidery Specialist to join our team. Experience in a production environment is preferred, but not necessary. We will provide on the job, paid training in Embroidery for the right candidate. Previous employees have found the work to be a good variety, rewarding, creative and inspiring. The work setting is clean, climate controlled, bright, organized and has windows to enjoy the sunshine and seasons of our Michigan weather. You will create custom decorated garments using Tajima Embroidery Software & Machines. While having an eye for design and quality with a knowledge of fabrics are important to the position, candidates should also be hard-working and able to handle a deadline-driven production schedule. Job Responsibilities Follow detailed written instructions Setup embroidery files/jobs for production Ensure quality and accuracy of embroidered designs and garments Follow procedures to properly prepare, load, and unload garments on and off the equipment Operate equipment to embroider garments with logos Maintain neat, clean and organized workspace Troubleshoot equipment issues & maintain embroidery machines Inspect finished products/designs for quality assurance Qualifications Positive attitude, good energy and pride in work Detail oriented with an eye for accuracy and quality, quick learner Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task Proficiency in operating embroidery machines and knowledge of different embroidery techniques preferred Experience with Tajima DGML by Pulse embroidery software preferred Ability to professionally communicate with co-workers and supervisors Reliable, dependable, on-time and hard-working If you are creative, organized and detailed oriented with a passion for design and embroidery, we encourage you to apply.
