Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a treatment alliance with patients, facilitating addiction treatment groups and providing individualized care
- Prepare and present addiction/recovery education presentations, engaging patients in a solution-focused approach
- Participate in case management sessions, including assessments, collaborative treatment goals, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with the treatment team to meet the co-occurring psychiatric needs of patients, promoting a holistic approach to care
- Maintain timely and well-written documentation, adhering to state and CARF standards
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient care, measured through clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
- Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills, with experience in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in the SUD field, with group treatment experience preferred
- Knowledgeable and well-versed in various recovery modalities, including SMART Recovery, Women for Sobriety, 12-Step, and Harm Reduction
- Licenses and certifications, such as ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LGPC, LMSW, LCADC, LCSW, and LCSW-C, are required
