Part-Time Federal Tax Attorney

Our client, a leading international law firm, is searching for an experienced and qualified Tax Attorney for a part-time role (approximately 10-15 hours/week) to assist with one of their clients. You will support Partners and Lawyers and collaborate with colleagues based in London... Responsibilities: ? Provide strategic advice on (i) investment funds and (ii) US treatment of sovereign investors. ? Demonstrate good knowledge of US federal tax laws and regulations on investment funds and Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs). ? Help clients understand the impact of the US Corporate Transparency Act on Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) and other non-US institutions. ? Give general and strategic tax advice and counseling to stakeholders and clients. Qualifications: ? Juris Doctorate degree and licensed to practice law in the US. ? Minimum eight years of experience in Tax Law at large law firms. ? Solid understanding of federal tax laws.
