Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Specialist to join our team at Catawba Hospital, a 110-bed psychiatric healthcare facility located in the beautiful mountainous region of Roanoke County. As a key member of our fiscal team, you will be responsible for supporting payroll and timekeeping functions, performing various data entry duties, and providing exceptional support to our employees. Key Responsibilities: Perform data entry duties, including keying batches in Cardinal HCM, keying information on spreadsheets, and keying in Kronos timekeeping system Assist with filing and organizing duties for Payroll and Timekeeping Provide support to employees with accessing Kronos and Cardinal HCM Maintain accurate and timely payroll records Collaborate with the fiscal team to ensure seamless payroll operations Requirements: Business school or accredited college/university graduate, preferably in accounting or related field Documented experience in payroll, accounting, personal computers, and software applications Good accounting and computation skills Working knowledge of automated payroll and accounting systems Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with others in a professional manner What We Offer: Competitive salary ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour) Opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team Professional development and growth opportunities Remote work options Immediate start date available How to Apply: To apply, please submit your application through our online portal, PAGEUP.
