MMR Research Worldwide specialise in consumer and sensory research and work with large, international brands within the food, beverage & personal/household care sectors. We are currently recruiting for part-time Product Evaluators/Sensory Panellists to join our new expert panel. WHEN: AM Panel 9.30am – 12.30pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday OR PM Panel 2pm – 5pm every Tuesday and Thursday WHERE : Harbourside 1,1 Boon Leat Terrace S119843 #05-01. PAY: $14 per hour, rising to $15 per hour after six months / completion of probation period.. Key Responsibilities These roles involve: Working individually and within a team to evaluate products within the food, drink and personal care industry Products range from food & beverages (including alcohol, meat & individual ingredients) through to personal care & household products (e.g. shampoo, skin care products) You will be taught how to generate sensory descriptive vocabulary as a group (relating to the taste, appearance, texture and smell of a product) and then individually evaluate products on these descriptors Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (this will be tested during a screening session) You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions You should be comfortable completing routine tasks quickly and accurately The ability to articulate yourselves in fluent English in front of others You must not have any dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian) & be happy to evaluate alcohol products when required You must not have any food intolerances/allergies You must agree not to wear any perfume and use any strong-smelling hand creams as this could affect your work A bit about us and our benefits!
