About the position
The Part-Time Property Manager at L. Upshaw Property Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential properties, including single-family homes and multi-unit buildings. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and homeowners, ensuring a high level of service and compliance with property regulations.
Responsibilities
• Oversee property maintenance, including coordinating repairs and routine inspections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants or homeowners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Enforce property policies and regulations to maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
• Manage tenant applications, lease agreements, and renewals (if applicable).
• Collect rent or HOA fees and maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for services such as landscaping, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local property management regulations and laws.
Requirements
• Proven experience in property management or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with property management software or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws or HOA regulations is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and ability to visit the property as needed.
