Part-Time Remote Licensed Therapist - Path to Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate independently licensed therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This fully remote position is ideal for clinicians looking for flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative practice. Therapists begin with a target caseload of approximately 10 client sessions per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role for those interested in expanding their caseload and growing with the practice. If you are passionate about providing compassionate, client-centered care and are looking for a practice that values connection, flexibility, and growth, we would love to hear from you Duties • Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing DSM 5, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate patient records • Provide individual, group, couple's counseling and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, trauma informed care, and applied behavior analysis • Deliver specialized counseling services including but not limited to PTSD/Trauma care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender affirming counseling, and working with individuals with anxiety, depression, OCD or other mental wellness concerns/goals • Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical documentation, medical records, and detailed case notes while ensuring confidentiality and data security • Collaborate with healthcare providers on patient care plans, conduct behavioral health assessments, and participate in clinical research projects to enhance treatment approaches • Utilize telehealth technology effectively to provide accessible mental health services across diverse client populations Requirements • Active independent Massachusetts license (LMHC, LICSW or LADC I, as applicable) in good standing with no restrictions that would impact the ability to provide clinical services. • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable professional ethics, licensing regulations, telehealth requirements, and state and federal laws governing the practice of psychotherapy and behavioral health services. • Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, social work or related fields with a focus on behavioral health or mental health counseling • Familiarity with DSM 5/ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; familiarity with pediatrics and special education is a plus • Excellent communication skills for intake procedures, patient assessment, case management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and remote service delivery methods; previous telehealth experience is preferred • Ability to handle crisis situations effectively while maintaining professional composure; experience in crisis intervention is highly valued • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology related to behavioral health services At Miles Towards Health and Wellness, we believe that therapists deserve the same care, support, and compassion that they provide to their clients.
