About the Role
As a part-time tutor with Huntington Learning Center, you'll have the opportunity to work with students in a 4:1 setting, focusing on math and reading skills. Our tutors work directly with students who are below grade level, helping them fill in their learning gaps and achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities
- Work with middle school-age students in a 4:1 setting to improve their math and reading skills
- Utilize Huntington's teaching methods and curriculum to deliver high-quality educational services

- Collaborate with other tutors as part of our wonderful Huntington Team

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- A college degree (assistant positions available at a lower rate)
- A passion for teaching and working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Teaching experience, particularly in math and reading
- Experience working with students who are below grade level
