**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting the overall success of our retail operations. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, interacting with customers, colleagues, and management to achieve sales goals and provide a world-class shopping experience. This is a part-time/casual position, with variable schedules based on business needs, availability, and work performance.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide legendary customer service, greeting and welcoming customers, and demonstrating active selling techniques to drive sales and meet customer needs
* Maintain a high-quality visual merchandising environment, including setting up seasonal promotions and visual displays, and monitoring product restocking and recovery
* Operate cash registers, assist customers with check-out, and execute cash handling procedures
* Support inventory and order fulfillment, including receiving and processing incoming merchandise, and assisting with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests
* Provide exceptional customer care, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Work successfully as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and being dependable in attendance and punctuality
* Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to arenaflex's safety and security policies and procedures
**Qualifications**
* Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for working with the public
* Moderate computer/systems competency, with experience using point-of-sale systems and other retail software
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Ability to occasionally climb ladders, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
* Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required; students are not eligible to apply for this position
