Job Function • Apply expertise in ASC 470 – Debt Modifications. Analyze and classify transactions under ASC 480 – Debt vs. Equity. • Perform business combinations accounting in accordance with ASC 805. • Manage consolidation processes per ASC 810. Apply guidance on derivatives and hedging under ASC 815. • Handle lease accounting tasks following ASC 842. Apply revenue recognition principles according to ASC 606. • Account for convertible debt, including bifurcation of beneficial conversion features (BCFs), derivatives, and relative fair value allocation. • Manage complex equity transactions, including valuation of options and warrants. Perform acquisition and purchase price accounting. Job Requirements • 15 years of experience. • CPA certification preferred. • Extensive technical expertise in accounting policy and SEC reporting, ideally gained in an advisory practice or consulting firm.
