Position Overview
The Patient Advocate Representative I role sits at the heart of careerzynith’s Patient Support Department. Based in our Duluth, Minnesota call‑center facility, you will be the first point of contact for patients, physicians, and referral partners, delivering exceptional service, resolving complex issues, and ensuring that every reorder is processed accurately and on time. This is a full‑time, on‑site position offering a competitive hourly rate of $18, with opportunities for evening and weekend shifts to meet the needs of our diverse patient community.
Key Responsibilities
- Authorization Management: Obtain and process authorizations for medication and supply reorders, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and internal policies.
- Patient Issue Resolution: Address patient concerns via inbound and outbound calls, email, and document review, providing clear explanations and timely solutions.
- Documentation Accuracy: Verify that all required medical documentation is complete and up‑to‑date to enable accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Retention & Cross‑Selling: Proactively engage patients to retain their loyalty, identify opportunities for additional services, and cross‑sell appropriate solutions.
- Supply Configuration Audits: Review supply configurations against formulary requirements, manufacturer capabilities, and supporting documentation to ensure optimal product delivery.
- Insurance Navigation: Explain insurance coverage details to patients, assist with claim submissions, and troubleshoot coverage denials.

Essential Qualifications
