The Payroll Shipping Specialist will deliver exceptional client service by ensuring payroll packages are delivered to clients at the correct time and location. This position will support the payroll department in ensuring the accuracy of every payroll package. Primary Responsibilities: Performs a variety of tasks involved packaging payrolls and other documents Prints and verifies the accuracy of all package labels Operates computer, printer, copier, and mail machine Receives, sorts, and delivers incoming mail Orders new mailing supplies as needed Provides client support regarding shipped payroll packages Prepares shipments using shipping supplies provided and constructs special packaging as needed Other Duties & Responsibilities: Reviews contents of the packages to ensure check counts and reports are correct Maintains accurate receipts and shipping records Travel Requirement: Occasional travel (approximately 5-10%) may be required to deliver packages to the carrier's main location if the scheduled pickup is missed Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience is a plus Proficient with MS Office and Intermedial Microsoft EXCEL skills Data entry experience preferred Ability to handle physical workload (lift up to 50 lbs.) ClientSpace and PrismHR knowledge is a preferred Experience with FedEX Online Software a plus COMPENSATION: The starting base hourly pay for this position is listed below. However, you should know that the pay rate may vary based on regional location, the candidate’s skill, and relevant experience. In addition, some positions may include a form of bonus or other incentive compensation, which would not be included in this salary range.
