Payroll Specialist (Remote, Pacific Time Zone Preferred) Location: Remote (Preference for California or Pacific Time Zone) Employment Type: Full-Time About Us: C1 Staffing is a rapidly growing light-industrial staffing company, managing over 350 full-time workers with plans to scale to over $40M in annual payroll by the end of Q2. We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Payroll Specialist to help us build out and refine payroll processes as we grow. Responsibilities: • Process weekly payroll for all temp workers, ensuring accuracy in hours and invoicing. • Manage workers’ compensation and payroll tax filings. • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries promptly. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payroll systems and enhance efficiency. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role. • Strong understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. • Proficiency with payroll software. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Compensation: • Base Salary: $60,000 - $80,000/year • Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and opportunities for growth.
