As a payroll tax system analyst , you will? Develop and manage processes, systems and tools to administer Starbucks payroll tax programs, including analyzing current processes, tools and systems and making recommendations for development, improvement or simplification. Gather, research and document business requirements to address break fixes, legal compliance and program design changes required to be implemented into both internal/external systems and processes. Test that Payroll Tax systems are configured and functioning in accordance with business requirements. Assist in auditing programs to ensure compliance with governing laws and regulations. Monitors appropriate record retention policies. We d love to hear from people with: Technical knowledge of Payroll Tax functions, laws, and regulations Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel) Ability to convey complicated information in a logical manner Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
