Personal Accountant & Bookkeeper

Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a remote Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong financial background to manage accounting across several of our companies, investments, and more. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, attributing expenses against different companies, and preparing all books and statements in advance of the quarterly tax season. • Our companies are a mix of Nevada, Wyoming, and Delaware LLCs and C-Corporations. • All of the entities bank with Mercury (mercury.com), Brex (Brex.com), or Arc (joinarc.com) • All of the entities spend through Ramp (ramp.com) or Brex (Brex.com) • All of the entities are on QBO and follow US GAAP / accrual standards Responsibilities Bookkeeping • Manage bookkeeping and conduct weekly and monthly close. • Prepare comprehensive financial statements. • Attribute expenses accurately against various companies. Tax Preparation • Prepare all books and statements in advance of the quarterly tax season. • Understand and adhere to all tax regulations and compliance. Requirements Technical Skills • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CPA. • Proficiencies in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc). • Strong understanding of tax codes and laws. • Experience with financial forecasting and risk analysis. Soft Skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
